Sorry, I just saw this.
Our peds are ok with me not vaxing. All their info says they follow the AAP guidelines, but they're ok with me selective and delay vaxing, and a friend of mine doesn't vax at all, and uses them.
Northeast Cincinnati Pediatrics. (My doc specifically is Dr. Evans. I also like Dr. Cook. Dr. Baldwin is ok, I would never see Dr. Cranbuhl again, and he is also not on the no-vax bandwagon.)
Perhaps they know I'm educated about it and that's why they don't give me crap - with ODS, it started with the varicella vax - I said no thanks, Dr. Evans asked why not, I gave him a multitude of valid reasons, and he said, "Ok."
That son (who is 5) has some other health concerns and we will likely not vax him again, unless there's an outbreak of something serious. YDS is 17 months and he is vaxed, but on my own very delayed schedule. They just say, "Usually kids are getting these 6 shots today. Did you want to get him anything today?"
(I did have an issue with a nurse there a few years ago - ODS has asthma and she told me it was neglectful to not give him a flu shot since he has asthma. Yeah, she doesn't work there now...)
