but because you asked i would guess 3 or 4 because of his young face.

but the whole point of me posting is to agree. he is SUCH A CUTIEEEEEE!!!! makes me want to hang out with him at the park. he seems shy but with an open smile and looks like once you get him warmed up he can be such a love bug. awwwwww!!!! hope any of this was not inappropriate.
That's scarily accurate! He is very shy around new people for about 15 minutes. Then he's their best friend. That's so funny you got all that from his picture.

The fingers/hands are what tipped it for me too! My dd is almost five but looks much older-she is taller and bigger then most of her peers.

Our school district does screening starting at age 3-- they want to catch any issues early so that kids can get proper intervention/help before they start school.

I guessed 2nd half of the 4th year (so 3.5+).

I could be convinced otherwise, but *to me* he is standing like a 3 year old, not a 5 year old.

4-5

What a cutie! I would have guessed 5. My 3 yo is small for his age, so that threw me off.

I would've said 5 by the face and height.

The *hands* look 3-4 to me...still those toddler-ish looking chubby-ish hands.

I also have a dd everyone thinks is older. She is 3 and not quite a half, with a great vocabulary and loves to play with 'older' little girls--about a year or so older than herself.
She's also 95% for height.

EVERYONE thinks she is 4. Even when she tested for preschool, I took her in right after her 3rd b-day, they checked the year a couple times, she looks older because of the height....and she also tested very well.

(until they see her throw a fit, then nobody mistakes her age, )

my new neighbors when we moved here back before her SECOND b-day, thought she was 3 THEN!!! (probably also helped by the fact that I was hugely pregnant with her baby brother)

Thanks everybody.

Most people do think he's 5ish. But if you're around him much, he's very obviously 3.

I'm posting before reading any of the replies - I'd say 5. he looks tall to me.
I'm guessing 5.

Now I'm going back to read the thread and see if the answer is given.

I guessed 4 or 5 before I read the answer.

He is just gorgeous. Such a sweet handsome face.
