getting BACK into Birth!!

I didn't think I'd be so excited!!
In 1990 I attended my first birth- then in magical excitement and passionate career drive I continued for 3 years assisting at a local hospital, turned away from medicine and into midwifery- enrolled in AAMI, attended my first homebirth in 1995, then ended up moving- and going to college- and putting bith on hold. Started a pregnancy counseling practice.... Went to grad school, got married, had my own babies, got into health administration and really missed birth!
SOOOOOO
I decided to go back-
This week I officially began to contact NARM for the new requirements- I started rereading my apprentice workbook and books on my reading lists, contacting local schools and building my portfolio!
Anyone else doing PEP as entry level midwife?
I have to redo my births since it's been so long, and I have lil ones now so I am not going to jump on every birth - but I have talked to a lot of midwives/student midwives with kids and know it can be done...
SO
anyone have any advice, suggestions, stories to share???
Thanks!!!
