Raw milk is magical

Sorry, had to share this!

So, my DS has had issues with dairy since he was born. I had cut it out starting at 2 months (when I realized it) and was doing nothing but soy until we tried raw milk. We can both have it! That's a number one yay!

Number two yay moment: We all went out to eat and I gave DS something I thought was "safe" for him to have...I went home and looked it up and it wasn't. (I didn't think to ask for nutritional info while there) I said to DH, "I wish there was something I could give him, you know? To cancel it out." He thought for a second and goes, "Give him some of the raw milk. It has all the enzymes in it that help him not react." I did (I figured it would either help or not do anything so what was the harm?) AND IT WORKED!!!! His reaction wasn't nearly as bad as it should have been!!!

I just had to share yet another merit of raw dairy!

A lot of people that are lactose intolerant can handle raw dairy because it has the lactase in it...lactase is the enzyme in milk that breaks down lactose. It's killed when pasteurized.
