Home Ovulation test

Thread Starter
I am asking for a friend. I thought I remember reading some where about faulty home ovulation test. Does anyone have any brands not recommend? Or types? Or even preferred brand.

I know not to use blue dye HPT.

Answer brand OPK must have 50% or more of the width of the test line as dark as or darker than the control... a thin line is not positive.

Thats the only one I know of that isnt like all the others.

not sure which ones arent recommended, but i do recommend the internet cheapies like wondfro. they work very well and are about 30 cents each.

The Clear Blue easy ones are expensive, but easy to figure out.

I've been using internet cheapies for a few months with no complaints! These are the ones I use:

I saw your post and went to this website. I have tried to order these a couple of times and the webpage keeps emptying out my cart. Do you usually have problems? How many times have you used this website?

I have also used that website, and never had any problems. I actually just put in my second order this morning. You can take 10% off with the code "ovulationcelebration" for the month of May : )

try amazon.com- you can get them for MUCH cheaper than that.

saveontests.com has them for .50 or cheaper (depending how many you get, 20 is about .50)

Plus you can mix and match your order, getting both OPKs and HPTs... their HPTs gave me extremely faint lines 2 days before FRER gave me my first faint positive...
