should I make food for the home visit?

I guess the question is in the title I'm having my home visit tomorrow with my midwives (I go to their homes for prenatal visits otherwise, this is my 37 week apt.) and at the last minute tonight while making dinner I had an "uh-oh" thought of the fact that I had nothing to offer them for food tomorrow! They're coming here at 2:30 or 3, so it's not a meal time per se.....did you feed your midwives at home visits? Should I try to make muffins or something snack like? They usually have muffins or breads, fruit, and tea and water out for moms on their prenatal days....should I try to do something similar or would it be awkward since it's just us??

I would just offer Coffee, tea or juice. I doubt they expect anything more and probably have to get through the appointment to move on to other things scheduled in their day. I might bake some cookies or go to the bakery and get some muffins or some small treat to offer as well. I wouldn't worry though if I didn't get to it.

Every visit was a home visit with my midwife and we never offered more than drinks. Well, actually we did offer she just never accepted! She didn't eat for my entire 3 day labor as well, she said births just keep her stomach jumpy and she can't eat.

I've had 2 home visits, and I've offered drinks, etc. They're never accepted though. I will have some easy food on hand for during labor, maybe some muffins or something similar.

I offered tea to my midwives for home visits. They did not accept.

They did ask that we have food on hand for them during the birth though. Dd2's birth went really fast though so they didn't have any food during the birth either.
