does your lo use a pillow?

ds (2.5) just moved into a bed and he has a small pillow that someone made him, but he always seems to roll off it, then it just seems to be in his way so i usually just take it out. he likes the idea of course because he sees us use them, but i seem to remember reading that it's healthier for your body alignment not to use one at all. or maybe if he had one that was as wide as the mattress so he wouldn't roll off it?!?!?

Mine loves his pillow. He doesn't sleep the entire night on it though. I do believe it is better to not use one, but I love my pillows

My daughter starts off on a fairly flat pillow but I know she's asleep asleep when she rolls off of it. I think she likes the idea as Mommy and Daddy sleep on a pillow but she naturally rolls off of it as she falls into a deep sleep.

I got DS a crib pillow when he was moving into a twin bed. He never used it. Now there's a full-size pillow in his bed, but it's more for me when nursing/laying with hime to sleep, he doesn't really use it. He's a tummy sleeper like me and I know from my own experience it's sometimes more comfortable without.

DS uses my old pillow when he sleeps in his crib. He has been using the pillows in our bed for many many months, so I thought he would like to have one in his bed, too. It's a fairly flat, smushy pillow. He sleeps on his tummy and actually likes to get about half his body on the pillow - from the waist up.

Mine does most of the time - he has a small soft pillow grandma made him. But some nights he's not on it - or he's trying to steal mine.

My DD has had a flat, squashy down pillow since about 16 months and she keeps her head on it for much of the night, according to our video monitor.

Our eldest sleeps on a flat pillow and loves it! The youngest had a little toddler pillow I'd made a fun pillowcase for, but he doesn't use it very often so most of the time it's just used for sitting on - lol!

DS has a pillow, and he "needs" it (well, not a specific pillow, but a pillow of some kind), though he only actually sleeps on it about half the time.

DD has a small flat pillow that she uses sometimes, too. Other times she lays in the bed with no pillow or i find her on my pillow or using me as a pillow. She is not what I would call a still sleeper, hehehe.

sometimes ds likes to share my pillow, or use ME as a pillow, but since he sleeps a good part of the night on his stomach, I haven't got him one of his own.

DS is 21 mo. We added a flat pillow to DS crib when he had a bad cold hoping to elevate his head. He loved it and still uses it. Occassionally he'll sleep below it or flip to the other end, but most nights he sleeps on it.

DS will start off on a pillow but usually his head ends up somewhere else by morning. He has a small toddler pillow in his bed from IKEA and will use an "adult" sized pillow if sleeping in my bed.
