Today was my 22 month old's first overall Evaluation/Diagnosis day- we've already tested his hearing and we still have weird results there, there is some hearing, but what he's processing may not be what he's hearing- at any rate, it was the hearing that really started the journey to today's evaluation.
Gross Motor: 18 months
Receptive speech/language: 8 months
Expressive speech/ language: 6 months
Cognitive: 15 months
Fine Motor: 13-14 months
I suspect that many of the results were skewed because he doesn't speak, but still, he scored lower than I anticipated pretty much across the board.
We only have the preliminary report as of now, the complete report should be done in 4-6 weeks.
I guess it's a jumping off point. I don't see the deficits to be as extreme as they appear in black and white, but maybe I'm missing something. It's a lot to process.
