Seriously, it makes me want to stab my brain with a sharp stick. I can handle temper tantrums, screaming, banging, stomping, loud farting - anything but the whining. She whines if she wants something (we try to redirect her to use her words. "Do you want up?"), she whines if she frustrated, she whines if it's sunny or cloudy, or just to see how long it takes me to literally climb a wall.
I'm not sure what to do about it - suggestions?

I was really worried that I had somehow taught him that whining works (even though I do my best to respond to his needs). It drives me nuts!! My DS is also 15 months old and he doesn't talk yet, so it's just babble-whine. When he whines I try and speak to him in a more normal/happy way, try and guess what he's whining about and say it in words for him. Then help him or show him how to help himself. He seems to be very sensitive to mild frustrations, for example he will start to whine/cry if he drops his toy, or if he loses his balance, of if I'm too slow getting his bib on for dinner, things like that.
