can you recommend some binoculars?

dd wants binoculars. we had the Discovery Toy Binoculars earlier (eventually fell apart), she may be ready for the next stage now.

Or we could just get those again and handle more carefully.

Any suggestions? She is almost 7 and wants to watch birds building their nests. Want something good, durable, and not too expensive, if possible.

I have a child almost 7 too. I am going to go with something for the sporting goods store. I know that I can find something that isn't too expensive. I'm going to make a bid deal about the fact that they are "grown up" binoculars and make sure they have a pouch/bag. I find that gets stuff treated better. Good luck.
