Advice needed on finding a simple sling without rings

Hello, many years ago I used a wonderful sling for my babies, and I would like to find something like it again for a friend. It was one circular piece of fabric that was sewn with folds just right so that I could bend over and pick something up off the floor without holding onto the sling at all. It was strong, made out of durable material, and it fit me. I just put it over my head and shoulder, put the baby in and went... Could someone mention a brand to me that would work this way? I am not looking for anything with rings, and I am not looking for a front pack or back pack. This is a sling. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed!

Sounds like a pouch sling to me. Some of the brands that I know of are Hotsling, Peanut Shell, Kangaroo Korner, and Slinglings. Do any of those sound like what you're looking for?
