I do what most others around here do (i assume), when wanting to get cream from raw milk- letting it sit for a day or two in containers, so the cream rises to the top.
I was wondering, though, if there are ways to get the maximum amount of cream out of the raw milk? I was looking online for some mini/household cream seperators but it seems the assembly/cleaning is too much trouble if i'm only going to be seperating a couple of litres about once a week.
Also, does anyone know the efficacy of traditional seperation (letting it sit) as compared to using a seperator?
