I had a couple that were friends of mine - I used to babysit their children and also did some personal assistant work for them. I knew them for years and was very close with the whole family. Mom was out of town one weekend and Dad asked me to watch the kids so afterward we sat talking and I told him of my plans. he acted excited for me (he may have had a few beers in him quite honestly). When I announced that I was pregnant, I got a message on my home answering machine (obviously NOT trying to reach me or she would have called my cell) from Mom congratulating me and I have never heard from either since then. They are very catholic and I am sure just could not imagine how they would tell their children about this. That is the only negative reaction i have gotten from anyone. My daughter is 17 months. My Grandmother passed just weeks before my daughter was conceived (and she is Gramma all over again

) and she taught me that keeping people who are negative and unsupportive in your life isn't respecting yourself so that's the way I look at it! Plus they are missing one FABULOUS little girl! Hold your head up and be proud of your decision because how YOU fell about it is what matters and that is what your child will grow up feeling.
