We really like the "Charlie and Lola" series. There is no sibling conflict-- charlie adores lola. And, if they watch it enough, they'll pick up a british accent.

We watch some of these like Curious George (my fav.) and Pocoyo. She also likes WordWorld. We tried Caillou but, she didn't seem to like it. Recently borrowed some classic cartoons like Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny. Watching them now, I found them q. violent with vicious dogs and angry boxing matches. I don't know if its me and I'm just over reacting. Dd kept wondering why Donald was in dire situations in one episode after another. She seemed q. worried for him. I am going to try out some of the others mentioned.

Thanks.

Favorite movie of my almost 3-yr-old twins is My Neighbor Totoro. DH and I really love it too! DS went through a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang phase, and also a few that are not necessarily age appropriate, The Sandlot (the original) and Ice Age #'s 1 & 3.
Along with some of the TV series mentioned, the twins enjoy Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder and Dinosaur Train.

DD loves Kipper and Caillou! She recently saw a YouTube video of an old Mickey Mouse cartoon and loved it. However, I do agree that some of these can be a little scarey or violent.

I lean towards educational TV.

Sesame Street
Blue's Clues
Baby Signing Time
Barney

He also likes:
Clifford
The Muppet Show
Fraggle Rock
Little Bear

I'd like to try some Dora and Kai-Lan but haven't bought 'em yet.

Franklin

My little ones loved Nemo and Cars. I always start Nemo on scene 3 ... skipping the scary part where Marlin becomes a single Dad. Cars is great .... only one slightly-scary scene (the tractor chase) but that never bothered my son and no real bad/scary guys.

Peppa Pig
Some older kids still like Signing Time.
Reading Rainbow (but be prepared to skip the horrible new version of the opening song)
another vote for Kipper, Caillou, and Charlie and Lola
Bear in the Big Blue House was fun when I was working nights, not sure what kids think of it.
