moms pg with #4...measuring large?

I had my appt. this morning. I'm around 11 weeks and my midwife could feel my uterus/fundus in the middle of my belly between my pubic bone and my belly button (where I thought I had been feeling it for a while but wasn't sure). She found the baby's hb right away -- literally as soon as she put the doppler down. Nice and strong: 164 bpm. I asked her if I felt big and at first she thought I was 13 weeks (because my LMP and O date didn't match correctly) and when she realized the mistake said that it is because this is baby number 4 -- I'm just more stretched out. I'm pretty thin but my belly is very big looking -- I definately look like I'm between 16-20 weeks pg. So -- has this been the case for all of you? Do you just get bigger earlier with each one? I'm still wondering of the chance of multiples -- I did have an u/s at 5.5 weeks that showed only one baby at the time...

Likely just because its #4

Im on #3, pregnancy #4 and was measuring very similar at that point. by 20 weeks my fundus was 2 inches above my belly button!

I haven't officially been measured yet. But I always measure a little big.
As a side note: I've had a lot of c/s's and all that scar tissue low makes my uterus float up pretty fast, so its been high.

I typically measure a bit big, and am measuring big with #4 as well.

I'm pregnant with #4 and measuring right on schedule. I think my babies just like to displace my lungs instead of sticking straight out thought, because I was measuring a tad small with baby #3 at the end and ended up with a 9.5 lb little chunk. So I think it's partly that our bodies are already "stretched," but it's also how that little bean is positioned.

It took me until #9 to measure anything but on target or a couple weeks behind. This time, well, I'm consistently measuring weeks ahead and midwife feels I am growing a significantly larger baby than any of my others.

After number 1 (which was twins), I've noticed I show earlier, have a higher fundal height, and just look BIGGER. My OB has never been concerned, nor was my last baby all that big (8.5 pounds).

...it's funny, though. I think my larger uterus gave ds3 more space to move around. He was born as such a strong, coordinated newborn...it was unreal. He could hold his head up independently at birth (in tummy time), and just kept going from there.
