I'm so confused.
The bedding stores have bedding that is supposedly anti-mite but they have never heard about the necessary pore size needed to keep mites in check.
The conventional allergy associations say that mattress covers must enclose the whole mattress and not just the top. Some even say to cover boxsprings.
I have heard that wool mattress pads keep mites out and heard the opposite as well. Would a wool blanket work just as well, presuming no wool allergy?
All I know is that pore size is not related to thread count.
I'd appreciate any thoughts about bedding.
