soy free crackers?

My sil's baby was just diagnosed with allergies via a scratch test. She is trying to find some crackers that do not contain any forms of soy, or dairy, nuts and eggs. Right now she is eating gluten, but I hope she tries to remove it in the future.
My rice crackers (Kame) contain soy tocopherols, which is fine for us.

Any crackers out there that do not contain any forms of soy or any other the above allergens??

thanks

(I already told her about the Irish oat crackers that we eat. They are soy free).

I would not use the ones linked above with an allergenic child especially one with tree nut allergies. They are heavily sesame contaminated which is a potent allergen that crosses with both cashew and pistachio. Sesame is not an allergy you want to form if it doesn't already exist. There are no sesame safe crackers actually.

What I would recommend she do is make her own crackers. Crackers are extremely easy and fast to make.

Gluten free has major issues with tree nut (and sesame) contamination. It's a nightmare. If she does that and she would like a list of tree nut safe gluten free stuff let me know. She should not switch without doing her research or consulting with someone who has. Most everything has major tree nut cross contamination (not always listed either).

I've thought a lot about you sbgrace when I found out about her allergy results.

I'm not sure how much I should help my sil. What role I should take.

She clearly trusts all of her doctors even when they appear to give her poor advice.

She didn't mention anything about sesame, but when giving her food suggestions, I mentioned that hummus might not be good because of the sesame. Don't know how much I should push it.

Should I at least suggest to her that she speak to her allergist about the very serious concerns regarding sesame contamination? See what he has to say?

Is there ever a time when it is not necessary to worry about it? They described the nut allergy as a "sensitivity" (along with the egg and soy) whereas they described the milk as an "allergy." I am assuming it is because the skin prick test was not as reactive for the nuts, soy and eggs.

SHe is a working mom and is having a hard time adjusting to this extra work. I know that this is a normal process and I want to respect this. I'm a SAHM and i am feeling frustration from her because she is having to deal with this as a working mom while i have the luxury of figuring all this out at home.
That was a long winded way to say I am reluctant to tell her to make her own crackers, especially since she hates to cook.

The reality is though. She has a food allergic babe, allergic to some serious foods, and she is going to have to cook.

Back to Nature Crispy Wheat crackers are dairy, soy, nut free. They have wheat flour, safflower oil, raw sugar, wheat germ, cornstarch, brown rice syrup, sea salt, malted barley extract, leavening, and 'natural turmeric flavor'. Obviously not wheat/gf but perhaps a good option in this particular situation. My kids who have egg/nut/soy are okay with them. They are also somewhat reasonably priced for a not-so-conventional product.

The Enjoy Life brands are soy-free and nut/peanut-free. That would be a good start for her because they seem to be readily available in the nicer grocery stores, not just health food stores or WF. We have their products here at both Kroger's and Martin's.
