Any other teethers like this?

My dd will be 7mos in a week. Right now she has 6 teeth all at different stages of coming in. She has 2 or 3 teeth that are completely in, 1 or 2 that are completely through the skin but not all the way in, and 2 that are right at the gum with the tiniest bit that has come through. All of these teeth are coming in at a snail's pace once they reach the gum. It is torture. With my other 2 once the teeth made themselves known they were completely in in a couple of days, maybe a week.

Anyone else have a kid like this? Is it more hellish than with other teethers? My dd is pleasant during the day, but the last 3 or 4 nights have been hell. Up every hour and fussing in between. She wears a teething necklace, but it doesn't seem to help. I guess I could try motrin, but am reluctant for some reason. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

My little guy cut his first 2 on the same day, about a week and a half ago - they're still not in all the way. ANd he's cutting another one right now, and there's one coming behind that. And yes, he's a bear. The only thing that gives us relief (sleep) is Motrin.

It's taken my daughter at least 2mo for her teeth to come all the way in. She has 7 teeth that are all in slightly different stages of development. I think it's pretty normal. However, once her teeth break the skin she's fine again.

I was reluctant to use tylanol at first but i decided if I was in pain like that then I would would something. I figure it just isn't fair to not give her anything. The teething necklace wasn't enough. SO now we drug her but she seems to take it a bit better than the pain!

I gave her Motrin before bed last night and we had a much better night. Oh well, I guess I am going to have to resort to drugging her until those pesky teeth come all the way through.
