I am due with girl #3 this month and had a handful of friends ask about throwing baby showers this time around too. I truly could not even THINK of a single thing I needed so I graciously declined and instead took them up on a few pedi appts. 
My cousin just threw a shower for her friend that is having her third and had a GREAT idea that I will tuck away for my friends that have additional kids in the future.
All the shower attendees showed up w/ cleaning supplies and some food, and entertained the kids, snacked/drank some yummy wine, and cleaned her house (baseboards, ceiling fans, blinds, etc) top to bottom. Not the fun org-y nesting stuff, but the deep cleaning we all try to do at the end before baby comes.
They had a blast and noshed on food and good wine while cleaning and jamming to music. Mama to be got a spic and span house down to the baseboards.
Super cool idea and I will definately use that one in the future!!
