What test was this - blood on paper

Our naturopath tested DD for food allergies, and used a "new" test. I am not sure if it was just new to her, or a new kind of test. She did say that she thought it was much more accurate then what she was using before.

The test involved pricking my DDs finger and filing up a large circle on a piece of paper with the blood.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Never heard of it. Did she say it was for allergies or intolerances?

The only way in which that is familiar to me is in a newborn metabolic screen and to test for bloodtype. I have not personally seen that used for allergies.

It's by US Biotek. I just did it for DS & myself.
