Hi Mamas
We have a 14 month old daughter who has had solid foods since about 6 months old (and loves them). For the past several weeks she has gradually been reducing her intake of solids and increasing breastfeeding/expressed breastmilk intake. Is this normal? I work during the day so most of her eating is at night (not ideal). I'd like her to stay on solids, in part because I will be traveling for work in a month and because we're trying to conceive. This coincides with increased clingy-ness, with me in particular when I'm home (my husband is with her during the day). Is this a phase?

She's probably going through a growth spurt or she's very mildly sick or she's teething or something else of that general nature. It's really common for kiddos to revert to nursing like mad when something is happening to their body and it's not like they can communicate about it.
