Are there any CMD's or Medical Dosimetry students on MDC?

Me neither until 9 months ago. My original plan was to earn my BS in Radiation Therapy, but a friend suggested that I look into Medical Dosimetry. Instead of treating patients, the calculate the dosage of radiation administered by Radiation Therapists.

I applied to both programs, and was accepted for Medical Dosimetry, but not even considered for Radiation Therapy which is considered the easier program.

If I am not accepted to med school, I won't mind working as a CMD. The hours are M-F 9 to 5!

I never heard of it, but it looks interesting!

I am not, but the dosimitrists I know like it. I think it is pretty interesting. Of course, it takes a certain personality - someone who likes numbers and is compulsive/detail-oriented.
