Ergo back carry question

Thread Starter
Lately I've been getting pretty good at back carries with my Ergo! However, the chest strap digs into my chest, as in, the chest strap is giving me the pressure, not the shoulder straps. I have an Ergo Sport, and the straps are really long. In a back carry, they are tightened almost all the way. I am 5'9" and fairly thin, so is this why?

Would a regular Ergo with shorter straps work better on me? Or is this just how it feels to back carry with the chest strap in use? Thanks!

oh, also...in a back carry, my DD is low, like I push the waist belt down onto my hip bones. Is this how I'm supposed to do it, or should she be higher?

It wouldn't hurt to try it a bit higher and see if it fits better...
