41+2 baby will come, right?** UPDATE in POST**

I know, logically that baby's always come..and that 41+2 is still early..but still, I'm losing my mojo here. Please reassure me, I wont be pregnant forever. This is also a a VBAC so there is a lot of anticipation going into this birth. I'm totally excited to push a baby out of my vagina this time versus being cut open.

I'm healthy, baby is still very active and healthy. I'm drinking my RRL tea. Whenever baby is in the LOA position, I get BH contractions 5min apart all day, it just never turns into the real thing. I know that my body is doing a lot of prep work for the real deal.

It's just draining..

Mama's who went past 41 weeks, how did you do it? I am so stir crazy waiting on this little one. I've been out gardening to keep me busy but still!!

Baby boy, Ethan Matthew came at exactly 42 weeks!!! And worth the wait cause I got my home VBAC!!!! I didn't get my UC like I was hoping but I have no regrets for my empowering home birth! I had the midwife come over and hang out in my living room during labor for my husband's peace of mind and agreed that I would only have her come into my room if I needed her. I was laboring for quite a while and I was pushing against a lip of cervix that wouldn't move..I was exhausted and needed things to move along..so she held back my cervix while I push the head past it..then it took another 2 hours of pushing to get him out!! 9lb 10oz, 22 in and 14.5 in head. He was a bruiser for my first vaginal!! But soooo worth it!!!

I still loved that I UP'd and I called the shots!! Everyone respected what I wanted and it was AMAZING!! Maybe next baby will be my UC baby!!???

I've never UC'd but i did get to 41+4 with DD.

Your baby will come out, OR you will be in medical and record books for the rest of history. Which isn't exactly win-win, but the latter is so incredibly unlikely that the former is therefore inevitable.

Start a complicated knitting project - if you can't knit, so much the better. Do something very useful/necessary, so it will be a real shame when it's not finished in tome for the baby coming.

Hang in there, every day you're still pregnant makes it less likely you'll still be pregnant the next day.

I was 41 +4 with my 1st. I was never impatient. I think attitude has more to do with it than anything. I knew she'd come when she was ready. Definitely keep yourself busy and don't obsess about labor all the time. It'll happen.

My DS just came at 42+3! They come- but it seems they like to make us wait it out sometimes!

We went to 41+3 with our first, and we had due dates from July 3rd all the way to Aug 11th. So, I was just going to wait for my body and baby to tell me when the right time was. This time, we KNOW our conception date, and so we "know" our EDD, but I"m still willing to wait till 43. Also, I'm in Austin, and our Summers are brutal, and my EDD is Aug. 31st, so waiting till 43 weeks is most likely going to be pretty torturous, but I'm keeping my hopes up.

It'll happen mama, hang in there. I went to right over 42w with my son, and got desperate to no longer be pregnant and ate an entire pineapple. Had him a few hours later. But, truly, it'll happen. Your body knows what's its doing. Try to get as much rest as you can now, so you'll be ready for the marathon of labor and those first few days!
