beginner readers level 2 book suggestions

I am trying to create a list of beginner books to check out from the library for the summer. Any suggestions?

Henry & Mudge series by Cynthia Rylant (level 2)
Mr Putter & Tabby series also by C. Rylant (level 3)

Nate the Great series (level 2, I think)

My kids still love the Mr Putter books. (well, not as much as I do)

The Commander Toad books by Jane Yolen are very funny.
