Okay I have made treats, done some painting, and cleaned the boathrooms.

15 minutes of laundry folding done!
and I finished painting a frame...waiting for it to dry now.

okay not a lot of toys done....too many toys maybe?

and I flicked paint on the dry frame. Now wait for that to dry.

Next 10 minutes folding more laundry. Sigh.

and then back to toys....sigh.

You inspired me. My weekend blitz begins with the bedroom right after I shower up from my workout.

Thanks!

More folding done. More toys put away. Now 15 minutes of bringing the laundry to their own room!

Bedroom sparkling, laundry is next up. This is going to take about two hours but I can multi-task while the machines are going.

Can I join?
I need to do laundry, organize my room, and unpack some moving boxes. Maybe this will motivate me

I'm in! I need to transfer a load of laundry and make the bed/fold a load and start soaking cloth diapers. I should be back in 15 minutes. :-)

Oh, may I jump in?

First up is the kitchen, then the laundry!
One load of laundry done
One box unpacked
Got a great start on everything- including stuff outside and then... I fell in a hole and twisted my ankle. Bah!

But, the dishes were done, the laundry was half done, the kitchen was organized, the bathroom was cleaned, and the weed trimming was done- mostly- that's when I met the hole.

Now I'm going to sit on the couch and grit my teeth about the disorganization of my living room because walking around to pick it up would hurt.

Hey, I was doing my cleaning blitz this weekend, but wasn't online at all.

All three of us pitched in and got a lot done each day! I had last cleaned really well before our early April vacation. When we got back, I had a girls getaway scrapbook weekend and then I did a weeklong cleanse, which ended up being nearly a month of feeling like I had the flu. By this point, our house was looking rather pathetic despite our daily pick-ups and DH's valiant attempts at keeping them fed and the kitchen clean.

Saturday, we:
~ washed/dried several loads of laundry (sheets, mattress pad, towels, and pillows - air-drying most in the sunshine) and let the comforter hang over the line for an hour or two in the sunshine for freshening...all the master bed/bathroom....DD's will get the royal treatment next weekend

~ cleaned all the mirrors in the house (DH did high up, while I helped DD do the lower ones)

~ cleaned all the doorknobs and lightswitches (DD's fave)

~ dusted the entire house all at once (never usually happens!)

~ vacuumed the entire house all at once (also rare)

~ cleaned parts of each bathroom (including kitty box and cabinet)

On Sunday, we:
~ scrubbed the master shower

~ vacuumed the downstairs again (it needed it again!) and then I taught DH & DD how to mop the cork floors....we've had the cork flooring for nearly a year and they've never mopped nor seen me mop before, it was time!

~ cleaned out the fridge and freezer and made a meal plan and went grocery shopping

~ washed/dried 2-3 loads of laundry (clothing this time)...no sunshine to air out and freshen up other comforters since Saturday We still air-dried clothing inside, for the most part, though.

On Monday, I worked on finances and took out all the recycling. Forgot all about other tasks to finish up the cleaning blitz.

Today, Tuesday, I plan to clean the toilets (last task for the bathrooms) and take out trash and clean the kitty box (scooping occurs daily, but this means shaking out the mat underneath the box and vacuuming the area around the box) and do more laundry.

I have a tonne of stuff to do today so I thought I would post on this thread again.

I have a mountain of laundry, dishes, some errands, and I have to sort through stuff for my upcoming mom2mom sale.

sigh.

I love these threads! I know this title says Weekend Cleaning Blitz, but I figure it can be extended for the week, as well.

(As baby allows) I need to do a number of things today and tomorrow.

First I will clear off and organize the top of my dresser.
