I have acne, have had it for 12 years now. I know there are probiotic soaps that one can buy...and wonder if they would help (if anyone knows please share). Anyway, so last night I washed and then used some probiotic powder mixed with a bit of water and patted it on to my skin. My face looked beautiful this morning, but placebo effect? I don't know. What do ya'll think?

i don't know but now I want to do it!
i had super bad acne for years until I started washing with honey and moisturizing with coconut oil. I was SHOCKED with how well it worked for me. I guess my skin is just so super sensitive to chemicals that it makes me break out. I stopped breaking out completely when I started that routine. And now 2 1/2 years later I only get very infrequent break-outs when my period is due or when I accidently touch my face with hair product or the kids' lotion or something like that. I don't know if you tried this but there's a massive thread in this forum about it somewhere and the benefits. I would look into it if you haven't already. It really really surprised me. I expected to break out even worse.

If I'd known about it, I would have tried it way back when. It sounds interesting.... But I learned about raw honey and coconut oil first. And as it turns out, after a few months of using the honey, I switched to water-only for face-washing and it's been great. (I don't remember if the honey seemed to stop working, or if I just got lazy....)
