Hit a couple garage sales today and got a file box STUFFED with folders with some books printed out, and a bunch of other stuff to use with home schooling my two. Plus there were binders that had books copied and put in them. Writing and science materials. Cost me 11.50!

It's great isn't it?! I bought books at some yard sales today too. I need more bookshelves now though...maybe I'll find those at another yard sale...

I'm just getting started on home schooling. I think we are going to wait till my son is in 3rd grade and my daughter is not even a year yet, but there was no way I was going to pass up that deal!

My favorite was a moving sale across the street from us a few years back. Apparently the person was a tutor, and I got a file box full of workbooks for $5. I later added up the retail value (most were never used) - over $200.

I've always kicked myself since for not getting more. Even though I don't feel like storing the stuff for older grades, I could have made a good profit!
