Search a phrase

Is there a way to search for a phrase, as opposed to individual words? I have tried putting phrases into quotes, and even this still searches for word + word + word instead of what I want which would be "word word word" all together. (sorry, no specific example at the moment, but this happens every time I want to search an entire phrase.)

Unfortunately, our search doesn't do that kind of search. You can, however, do the search in Google, and get results for MDC.
