happens all the time in my world. Munch munch munch- "need mama milk!"

I think it's pretty normal for nursing toddlers...

I never gave my 2nd or 3rd son sippy cups. They went from nursing to open top cups or using a straw. They drank water from an open top cup at about 18 months. I do not think that sips from a cup will affect nursing much. Good luck!!

DD took a sippy at 6mos and it didn't affect her desire to nurse. She nursed all the time til she weaned at around 20 months. She is someone who has a high thirst and loves water. She prefers water over anything else!
DS1 didn't take a sippy til he was 13 months old. He nursed all the time also until he weaned at 22 months. He likes water but not as much as his sister.
DS2 was introduced to a sippy about 2 months ago. He seems to enjoy water and it hasn't affected his nursing either. He's a little more laid back about nursing and has always been this way.
