Brushing with butter and clay? (as seen on Wife Swap)

Several years ago there was an episode of ABC's Wife Swap of a family that was very traditional foods eaters that brushed their teeth with raw butter mixed with clay and it even turned moldy if I can remember and they still brushed with it. They had great teeth. Anyone heard of anything like this?

No, but if that was the episode where they ate primal, ala Aajonus Vonderplanitz style, than I would believe it. He strongly believes in the power of raw fats to heal.

Hhaha I remember that episode, I think they were raw foodists actually, they ate in the middle of the night, interesting family. Um regarding the toothpaste, I think it can work, I am experimenting with baking soda and herbs. I think if you eat healthy you can brush with water
