How long did it take you after Mirena - Page 2

6 mos after removal I got pregnant with my 4th baby.

It took us about 4 days. Maybe 3.

It took me almost a year to make DD #1, so we had it out thinking it would be awhile. I had all these weird symptoms. Bleeding, felt sick, super hearing/smell...then I POAS and what do you know. It was a big positive. It was touch and go at the beginning (lots of bleeding) and we worried I would MC. That can be a problem when you don't have a cycle before you catch. But lump is still here and we're expecting in August. I haven't had a cycle since I caught with DD back in 2005, so it is pretty funny watching people with their little wheel trying to figure out this little ones ETA. (We're going on ultrasound measurements). Too funny when they are like, how's a conception date of the 4th sound? No? Maybe the 5th? Humm....

FF can find an O date for me and I have had the nasuea smell and all kinds of symptoms but I just figure its my body trying to get back to normal. Cute story thanks!!

I had 4 years of pelvic pain and then crazy cycles after.
Oh that stinks I am sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing

I had it removed in Aug '09 and I got a BFP on Dec 26th. I normally have long cycles - 45 days - so I didn't have as many cycles in that time period as some ladies would.

Removed in end of March- conceived by May. Miscarried in July. Due in a few weeks.

I COULD have been pregnant earlier than May, but I wanted one full cycle first and I wanted to chart to time this baby some, so I waited a little after my miscarriage as well.

I DO think that the hormones in Mirena were a factor in my miscarriage. It was the first pregnancy that I had to take progesterone supplements. I have been pregnant 7 times, so I think the odds are good that the hormones in Mirena messed my own hormones up a bit.

I've had Mirena twice now. First time I had it removed in early September and by the end of the month. I had my second one removed last June (June 3rd) and am currently looking at my 8 week old daughter. So again, within the month. For me removal = instant fertility. In all fairness, though, my oldest daughter was conceived the first month the goalie sat out of the game, too.
