Barely bleeding after m/c at 9 weeks & cramping still

Hi all,

I'm not sure where to post this, so if it needs to be moved, feel free.

I miscarried last night and after I passed the baby, I didn't have much bleeding to speak of and the same today. I'm still crampy, but not contracting anymore. I don't understand, I should be having a heavy period, right? That's what happened last time I m/c. Instead, I get a small amount when I wipe.

Also, I'm still intensely cramping today and it's pretty much continuous. When can I expect this to stop? I don't have a fever or anything.

I have a hard time believing there's another one in there, as I had brutal contractions and it's hard to believe a babe could hold on through that.

fwiw, i didn't bleed much until later the next day. i think there is a wide variation of "normal" in this situation.

I am so sorry.

I had a miscarriage last Sunday. The bleeding wasn't too bad on the first day but it picked up pretty heavily the following day. I am still bleeding a little a week later. Everyone is different.

Hope you find peace. It's hard.

Thank you, mamas! We buried her a short time ago and while I'm really sad, having the chance to say goodbye was such a comfort and knowing where she is gives me peace.

I have what looks like the tail end of lochia and it's light. I contracted really intensely and when the baby came, so did like 1/2c of blood, so maybe that was it? I'm still cramping.

i'm so sorry for you loss

when i miscarried the bleeding was very very heavy during the miscarriage but once i passed the sac/baby it slowed down dramatically less than a normal period.. i can't remember if i still had cramping at that point, i did continue to have spotting similar to what i have experienced after giving birth for 20-something days..
