Hoarse cry

Well, I'm just full of questions. Does anybody else have a baby who has cried herself hoarse? I actually feel like she's cried less for the last day or two, but her cry is pathetic.

Is that a reflux sign? Is it something horrible? I mean, if I screamed like she does, I'd go hoarse, too. But I never hear about infants being hoarse.

I've heard her cough a few times, too, like maybe something is making her throat scratchy.

nak. both my reflux babies did that, so I'd guess reflux... also, coughing can be a sign of reflux, as the refluxed liquid can splash up into their throats and down the windpipe a bit, causing coughing.

Elise has a had this heartbreaking, hoarse cry the last week or so. But, she has a had a cold (a gift from her big brother).

If the cough isn't a cold, and it's pretty consistent, I'd add that to the list of reflux symptoms.
