Law & Order 20th Season

Law & Order is coming to an end after its 20th season. They have had a good run I must say and a very long one too.

I'm sad. I started sneaking out of bed to watch middle of the night reruns when I was 14--now at 31 I'm still a fan. I wasn't sure I was going to like the new cast this year (when they seemed to change almost everyone out) but I do like them and I'm sad they won't be back next year. I like SVU too and I'm curious to see what the new LA version will be like.

I watched the whole first season on L&O UK online... I'm hoping BBC America picks it up for the second season

I am really going to miss this show especially Jack McCoy. He's a great character. They should have kept this show and cancelled Law and Order: SVU instead. I'll definitely be watching the new law and order los angeles.

So I'm not the only one who watches SVU wondering how on earth the episode went from being pretty good to just getting more and more stupid by the minute? And also hoping each episode means the end of Detective Benson? LOL

Well, you know, at least Benson wasn't the one in the last episode saying, "Oh, I know how it must feel to lose a child, because my boyfriend dumped me!" Uh...what?? On the other hand, she was the one who was perfectly willing to drop her weapon on the hostage-taker's command. What happened to "Drop it or I'll kill her" being followed by "I can't do that"? Since when do the police just go, "Oh, okay."

that SVU was one of the worst ever. and sharon stone is a sucky actress in these series.

But I still love Olivia.

Yeah, that was a pretty ridiculous speech. The entire episode was pretty ridiculous. I thought Sharon Stone's character would be interesting but she can't act her way out of a paper bag and the character is just blah. They seemed to hint that she has a thing for Stabler or maybe the two of them had a thing in the past but it was never explored. I hope she's not back next season.

I think the show needs new writers. SVU used to be my favorite out of the franchise but it just keeps getting worse. I'm waiting for Benson and Stabler to retake their NYPD psych exams.

Love, love, love Sam Waterston. I will miss him so much. I even bought the Law and Order book, or, actually, got someone to buy it for me when it came out. And had to sell it when I moved (bawl!)

I am going to miss this show!

Agreed, Los Angeles will be a must-watch just to see if it can fill the void, although probably not. Waaah!

I'm hoping they will switch him to SVU. Jack McCoy was one of the best things about the show.
