weaned..now how long??

til milk is gone? and even more to the point, how long should I wait to *Finally* get a non-nursing bra!??
DS1 is 3y9m and nursed til 16 m (b/c I was by then 6 m preg with ds2). DS2 is now 2+ and we are on about day 3 of not having nursed at all (which is, at this point a relief to me). So, basically, I've been nursing for nearly 4yrs straight and I will be glad to have *my* boobs back (albeit quite less *perky* than before
Before kids I was a DD (at least, though now I know that I probably needed a larger cup size and smaller band size....but anyway...). Since kids I've been, well, a really large cup size. However, it has decreased lately as ds2 started to wean. I have wanted to get a new bra, but b/c I have to have a very odd size (like 32E or more) it means a pretty expensive bra! So, I want to wait til my body realizes it is done providing milk....however, I have no idea how long that will take?! Anyone have any ideas on this one?

how long til the milk is gone? hmmm, when my ds2 weaned himself at 60 mos, i hadnt been able to squeeze a drop for like 2 yrs, but my friend who had to wean after only 3 days so she could have chemo and brain surgery never went back to the breast and 18 mos later still leaks (she gave her son colostrum but her milk came in around day 4 or 5 after he was on bottles) so theres no telling for you, sorry

I feel like a week after I weaned DS the whole thing was 'done'. He stopped asking, my boobs felt normal.

Wow! a week would be great! right now, though (day 4ish) I still feel "full" - not sore, not painful, not leaky, just "full"...I'm hoping that will go quickly...but suspect it'll be a bit still...
Mostly I just want to wait to buy a bra...but I'm very impatiently waiting
