tinea versicolor

Is tinea versicolor brought on my yeast? I'm curious if any of your kiddos have had this and did eliminating foods make it go away?

Oh yeah it's yeast. My dd has never had it, but my brother does. And it hasn't gone away because he won't make the changes he needs to, but high dose biotin has helped.

You any helpful links on this? I'm assuming you where trying to help your brother so maybe you know quite a bit about it? Yeast is the only CAUSE? I find this interesting because Neither Dd nor I have any other yeast issues.

OUr ND didn't seem concerned about it, saying it's common in AZ .
