I was just coming to ask that same thing. I'm guessing either adoption or a typo!

I can't really answer the question because I only have one kid, but he is 35 months now and I am not pregnant so NextKid will be at least 44 months behind him - 3 years and 8 months. It was interesting to read that there are very few of us with that large of a spacing! I saw several of you but there were many more in the 17-30 month range.

We are thinking of TTC #2 soonish.

Had I not miscarried, there would have been 28 mo between DS2 and DD1, but, as it stands...

DD1 is 22 months 15 days older than DD2. Had I not miscarried between my 2nd and 4th pregnancies I would have had children 20 months apart.
Im 18 months post partum and Im not pregnant so the closest I could have children apart is 28 months. Im a little bummed about not being pregnant though since I get on a daily basis "Mommmy can I have another sister? I need another playmate" Yea, my oldest loves her baby sister and wants another baby sister to spoil. I told her the next one could be a boy and her response was "Ok but hes still wearing pink dresses." It took me a while after that one to stop laughing!

21 months - I would have probably spaced out more if I had the choice, but just got preggers right away the 2nd time. DD still feels the repercussions of not having had enough attention as a toddler!

Or it could just be her personality combined with your interpretation of her actions. I'm only 10 months and 20 days older than my sisters. And they are identical twins (had to add than in; I keep forgetting that they are twins). For us, it's normal. There is always (at least ime) for the entire family when another one is added, however they are added. After all, all of a sudden there is another personality to fit into the mix.
