Baby/ Kids clothes ebay, Craig's, vs consignment?

Which one do you have a best luck with? If I'm going to sell and earn some money, I would like to sell it for the best price but having to ship could cost me more time (and for ebay fee). Do you sell with better money at ebay or the other two??
Is consignment shop better than selling at craig's list?

I have sold lots of kids clothes on ebay....what I have found is there is no rhyme or reason in the sense of what you will make from it. For example I might list one lot of things starting at 99c and made a lot of money, even more than they cost me in some cases! Then I might list another lot at 99cents and they sell for only 99cents! In which case I make zilch.

You can be better off listing them a bit higher than 99c to ensure they sell for more, but sometimes you can get more if you start them all low. It is really just trial and error.

I have no idea about Craigs List, don't think we have that here.

Brand names sell best - Gap, Gymboree, Boden, Janie & Jack. If you have clothes from Target or dept stores, I would honestly either consign them for the very little they give you, or donate them. If you have sought out clothes, in excellent condition, I would say try ebay first, and craigslist if that doesn't work. You will need to add the shipping fee's (single pieces of clothing don't weigh too much, and there are flat rate boxes for bigger amounts). Consignment shops still don't pay much more for brand name clothing over non-brand clothing - so it's up to you if you want to try that.

We actually do a local thrift store that buys clothing. It is not a cosignment shop. I only buy name brand clothing used unless I get something for less then a $1.00 some where like Target or something. Hanna Anderson people will pay full price for a used item, crazy. When I take the clothes in, I make sure they are clean, ironed, no tears no rips etc. I always get top dollar. My daughter is 3 years old. Her first year of life she had severe reflux which we would change her clothes 4-6times a day plus multiple pj changes. So she had enough clothes for 4 or 5 kids. I have spent less then $100 on he clothes and shoes and most of that went for shoes. The thrift shop takes maybe 30-40% of what I have but I get top dollar for it enough so like I said I have spent very little on her clothing budget. I get compliments all the time on her wardrobe too.
