Ack! I'm pregant again! Of course we are thrilled, and now that I'm not in my 1st trimester anymore I'm feeling MUCH better!
My first was born at North Memorial (which suprizingly was an amazing natural birth!!!) My second (becuase we moved) was at St. Joes. It was an okay birth, it was in the water it was peaceful, I just think my m/w was a little too hands on, plus we brought my 2 year old son who was less then thrilled to be there and pretty much screamed bloody murder while I was birthing (could even here him down the other side of the hospital!) and it was just okay. With this baby my husband especially wants a hb so he can eat and pee freely
plus we both think it will be easier for our other children (esp. since our second will not even be 2 when this baby is born) it just makes sense! But since wee weren't exactly trying for this baby we are a little un-prepared to pay for $4000 that a lot of the m/w seem to be charging. We are going to use our flex care account and if insurance pays NOTHING we have to be prepaired to pay $400 a month for a while
Does anyone know of a cheaper m/w or one that accepts less than what she normally charges, and also be qualified or reccommended?

) I wonder if it's because she's just starting out that maybe she more affordable?
