How and what can you dye with Koolaid?

Hello.......I was just curious reading all these threads about using Koolaid to dye items.

How/can you dye CPF's with Koolaid or should I just order some dye from Dharma's?

Any other ideas/suggestions?

You can only use KA to dye protein fibers - i.e. wool, silk, human hair, etc.

Sooo - you'll have to get some dye to do your prefolds. But - that's all I know about it. The only thing I've ever died was some wool yarn - which my mom is using right now, BTW and it is beautiful!!
