rocket phonics... anyone try it?

Has anyone tried rocket phonics? Is it worth the price. The website makes it seem pretty great. My oldest wants to learn to read but I'm uncomfortable with formal lessons. I think the games might be fun and I can still be helping her. She's not quite 4 and while I don't want to start formal lessons I do want to help her when she asks.

We tried it for review. I think it is a neat program but because we had a whole "official" curriculum for phonics, we never really got into it.

I have a friend who is using it with her kids. Here's a link to her blog, I know she's written about it a few times if you search there, she uses it mainly with her 2nd and 3rd kids but number 4 and maybe the 5th one also join in on some of it, and her oldest is a fluent reader (reading Harry Potter and such in 3rd grade) and enjoys joining in on some of it.
