He eats everything...ugh

DS is a mobile munching machine. This week he's eaten drywall, a rock, dog hair, the list goes on....honestly I cannot remember what all it's been or how many times I've had to grab something out of his mouth. DD was much more *selective*(she liked dead bugs and dandelion heads) DS just eats it all.

I'm not really looking for advice, LOL, just some mamas with majorly mobile babies who eat everything. You know misery loves company

Anything that fits goes into his mouth... and he tries with plenty of things that are too big.

When you start solids though, you'll be grateful for his willingness to try things.

We're still not totally mobile yet, but close. . .and yes, everything goes in the mouth. He loves plants and is constantly pulling leaves off of trees/bushes/plants when we go for walks (he leans out of the stroller to grab things)--I just never know which ones are safe so that worries me. He loves paper too. But basically anything he can grab he wants to taste. Funnily enough he has been much less adventurous when it comes to food--he'll taste, but isn't as into swallowing. So he seems to really differentiate between tasting as exploring and eating.

He is *this* close to crawling.. .I fear it will be a never-ending "game" of fishing random tings out of his mouth. Oh boy.

I have one too. we just bought a new vacuum (a miele callisto I it!) to help prevent carpet grazing.

wy doesn't really like solid food either, but if it's a fist full of cat hair he can't wait to eat it.

Well my little guy also LOVES food , but he is really into eating things like rocks and such. I vacuum, but having a 100 lb German Shepard in May is a recipe for clumps of dog hair.

We went to the beach the other day and today I just changed a sand filled diaper, I'm talking a 60-grit poop here. The guy just eats sticks, rocks, flowers, pretty much anything. He is incredibly fast at crawling, so we have to be really fast to catch him before he's shoving stuff in his mouth.

I'm hoping the phase will just work itself through. Ugh.
