I made a gauze wrap for my newborn and have been practicing wearing him around the house. I have been carrying him like the video for wombfruit and moby wraps shows...upright with froggy legs.
The top of the cumberbun that forms the pouch is right below my breasts. When I put him in, he ends up with his head nestled between the top of my breasts. He ends up with his face all squished into that soft tissue and it looks like he does not have enough space around his nose to get fresh air. I feel even worse when I bring the fabric all the way across the back of his head.
Is there something I should do different or is a wrap a bad idea for a larger breasted woman? Maybe I am just paranoid?

) and then slip your baby inside. The front crosses work really well for supporting a little bobblehead. He'll end up sort of tucked over one breast with his head in the fabric of the wrap on that side.
