ADHD In Children: PESTICIDES May Be Missing Link

I heard a little bit about this on NPR today. I've got to read more as well.

I am really really peeved with how the media is reporting on this study. They emphasise the fact that the pesticides are coming from fruit and veg, but totally bypass the pesticide load in grains and dairy and such which are even a larger part of the pyramid in most peoples diets. The media is reporting it like" the good foods that are bad for you... fruits and vegetables"! gahhhh.

UGH! I hadn't even picked up on that. On NPR they also mentioned people using pesticides in the home and on the yard.

Not to mention the prevalence of GM foods with pesticides bred right into them.

Yes, but you can't just wash bread and feel better that you've removed the pesticides magically.
