I remember reading that as well.
So, so true. The vagina is made to birth babies and though some may have tighter tissue in that area, with patience it should'nt be a problem.

This totally needs to be submitted to My OB Said What!

I'm amazed those words came out of a doctor's mouth! Unless your friend has had a female circumcision, or some sort of reconstructive genital surgery, I can't imagine that her vagina could be too small. This would be a serious red flag for me. Find another OB or go to a hospital where that OB doesn't have privileges.

My goodness...that's like saying "your rectum is just too small for solid poop." Or "your nose is too small to stick a finger in." Come on, really? A doctor doesn't know that body tissue is stretchy?

It sounds like this OB likes doing episiotomies and/or sections.
