I'm still enjoying it, but then I might be biased because I really like Robert Carlisle. It's quite funny seeing him on that having known him from Trainspotting.

A few of the characters annoy me, and what's with the annoying, whiney music at the end of each episode? But other than that I quite like it.

Will I lose all my geek cred if I say it was really nice to see the cast in some different clothes this episode?

My other incredibly deep observation is that I guess Justin Louis can act I just can't stand his character of Colonel Young.

That is why he seemed familiar!

I figure he is possessed by the insect things. I can't imagine why else he would do the things he has been doing. I haven't seen tonight's episode so maybe that is obvious by now.

I don't like Colonel Young either. I guess there is a reason he was stationed way out on a base in the middle of nowhere.

Stargate Universe is different and a darker plotline. It started slow but got better as it made it to the second season. SyFy cancelled a good show. But look what happened to Star Trek It gained more popularity after cancellation.

It did get better toward the end. I wondered if the cast was more relaxed after they knew it had been cancelled but apparently the announcment came after all the episode had been filmed. Syfy did it no favors by moving it to Tuesday. I'm just not in the mood for that kind of drama in the middle of week. Friday is my science fiction night. 

I've just been watching old SG-1 to get my sci fi fix. There doesn't seem to be much else. I like Santuary, Warehouse 13, and Haven but would like a little more wonder and science and a little less woo.
