I need a new series to Netflix

I am just finishing up "Nothern Exposure". I recently watching "The L Word", "Queer as Folk", "Six Feet Under" and as many seasons of "The Big Bang Theory" that I could find. I like to watch an entire series if possible over a time period.

"Lost" has me like, eh. Not too thrilled about that one. And I hated "Dexter" so that is out.

Any other suggestions? I don't really watch television so I usually only catch TV series' on Netflix.

How about "Dead like me", "The Office" or "Party Down"? You named most of my favorite series on Netflix. If you like crime shows, "Bones" is pretty good.
My husband really liked "Better off Ted", I never really got into it myself.

Arrested Development.

The Office if you haven't watched it yet.

Have you watched Gilmore Girls?

I haven't seen Heroes, although I know it was cancelled.

I would really like to enjoy Lost, but I don't think I am smart enough for it I am in the middle of Season 4 at the moment. I might wait until it is all over and start at the beginning and watch straight through.

Dh and I have been watching Twin Peaks lately.

Eureka is ok I really like Psych It has that guy from the West Wing and we love him (and the West Wing! have you seen West Wing? )

You don't like LOST?!?! I love LOST.

I have Weeds, Six Feet Under, The Big Bang Theory, Queer as Folk, and Dexter on my "to watch" list. Do you have a library card? I like getting them at the library because you can get the whole season rather than 1 disk at a time like on Netflix.

I wouldn't start Heroe's. I like the show, but I just found out it was canceled and they aren't going to even wrap it up.

I 3rd the Weeds recommendation. We loved Rome and Deadwood if you're into history at all. Bones was good and I watched a TON of Law and Order when I was on bedrest for a month. Doctor Who started new episodes a few years ago- I think they're in season 5 of "The New Doctor" if you're so inclined. House MD is okay too. Oh, and Grey's Anatomy might be available too.

I'm in the midst of watching the X-files while waiting for the baby. I think I might have scared it into staying inside though...

(I didn't like Lost either and quit watching! )

We've watched the same ones on your list as well, so pretty similar tv habits. What about Weeds, Big Love and of course , True Blood?

If you really enjoyed Queer As Folk, there is an older British series called
Metrosexuality, I think, that was pretty good. It is a mini-series.

The Tudors.

I just started "Better off Ted." It's available as a Watch Instantly streaming choice, as well. I'm really enjoying it. Also, "Thirtysomething" and "Party Down." "Angel" is on Hulu, and I enjoy that one, too.

There was a really great version of Robin Hood on the BBC that ran from 2006-2009. The first two seasons are available on the instant watch feature. The demand is so high for the third season, we've been waiting for the first disc for like a month. But the first two seasons at least were EXCELLENT.

I haven't seen "The Riches" mentioned yet. I am halfway through watching season 1 online and I am totally addicted.
