i am SO close to stash nirvana! we are doing pockets for dh and daycare, and mostly wool and prefolds / flats for when i'm home. i just need some pul covers to use when i take dd out, and i'm having a really hard time finding some that wont leave red marks on her chubby thighs!! we have tried thirsties duo, motherease airflow (which used to work great for her ), and regular thirsties. what else should i try???

We have Mommy's Touch one-size covers. Ds was/is really chubby & these are so adjustable I could always find a setting that didn't leave marks.

I really like mudshrimps on hyena cart.

Imse Vimse organic cotton. Most comfortable cover that actually works--no red marks and no leaks. They hold up, too, we used the larges on DD1 for about 6 months and DD2 has now been using them in heavy rotation for about 8 months and they are in fabulous shape.

I love the Blueberry minky wraps, we almost never have any leaks with them

I love the Imse Vimse covers, too. The leg gussets are so soft, and they fit from super skinny legs to really chubby ones, and from a trim dipe to a really fluffy one.

I did just get a Mommy's touch, he's wearing it for the first time now. I really like the leg elastic, it's gentle, but pulled tight enough for skinny legs. But, it doesn't have gussets, so I can see it not fitting so well over bulkier dipes.

I'm not one for buying the well-known diapers, but I happen to really like FLIP covers for DS. They fit his chunky thighs well and don't leave red marks. If you want to try them, you can buy one for $13.95 and get a free BG AIO through Cottonbabies. You have to call them to place the order and shipping is free.

thank you all! i will look into those options. we have one flip, and i LOVE how gentle it is on her legs, but i want to be able to snappi a brown edge gmd prefold on her under it and its sort of annoying to get everything tucked in well enough. it works, but im a perfectionist. LOL. i don't like trifolding much because i like to have as little pul touching her as possible.
