Do other parents experience this?

Does anyone else's knees and/or ankles feel SUPER achy and sore because of carrying a toddler (DS is only about 22 lbs)? Or are my knees/ankles exceptionally weak?

I get back and neck/shoulder pain, but I don't remember ever having knee or ankle pain from carrying my toddler before. That's not to say that your knees/ankles are exceptionally weak... maybe mine are just exceptionally strong! (LOL )

Can't say that I've had that problem. My arms generally feel like they're going to fall off before I really feel it anywhere else!

I have weak ankles to begin with and after carrying my 1 yo for long periods of time, I really feel it.

I find my ankles hurt after carrying DS if I'm wearing sandals, or shoes without support, but I do have pretty weak ankles. Other than that it's mostly my arms/shoulders.

My hips and back tend to hurt the most but sometimes my ankles will if I am standing for too long with the baby.

Lately EVERY morning my feet hurt so much as soon as I get up and set my feet on the ground. A pretty intense pain. I am just on my feet soooo much, and I don't wear slippers in the house because DD will eat them, and we have a house full of tile floors.

When is mama's day off?
